Dinosaurs Unearthed Opens at the Portland Science Center

PORTLAND, ME– For the ultimate “Throwback Thursday” Portland Science Center today announced that its exhibition of animatronic prehistoric life, Dinosaurs Unearthed, will open tomorrow.

Dinosaurs Unearthed is a multi-media, interactive immersion in dinosaur discovery. Its arrival at the Portland Science Center marks the first time this immensely popular exhibit has ever opened in New England.

The exhibit opens November 18, 2016 and will run through early Spring.

Stand Up For Students Announces New PR Firm

Public relations for the Stand Up for Students campaign, a citizen initiative to increase public school funding by creating a 3 percent surtax on income above $200,000, has been taken over by the Knight Canney Group, the campaign announced Monday. The hiring of the PR firm, whose past clients include Angus King and Eliot Cutler, is a signal that the funding question on this November’s general election ballot will be the subject of an intense campaign.
